Our Stainless Steel Round Tube / Hollow Sections are available in Grade 304, 316, 409 and 441

Grade 304 is essentially an all-rounder alloy, its tough with good corrosion resistance and is easily machined. The alloy also has outstanding welding characteristics. Stainless Steel Round Bars are rather versatile sections and are used in various applications.

Grade 316 is famous for its toughness and excellent corrosion resistance. The alloy has proven useful for numerous metalwork projects particularly on external and coastal applications and where welding is necessary. Machining of Grade 316 is a bit harder, but can be done successfully with the correct tooling.

Stainless Steel Round Tube Hollow Sections

Grade 409 is a Ferritic steel, known mostly for its excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance qualities, and its excellent fabricating characteristics, which allow it to be formed and cut easily. It has decent tensile strength and is readily welded by arc welding as well as being adaptable to resistance spot and seam welding.

Grade 441 Tubes are annealed, pickled and passivated. They are generally used in rail and road vehicles, container construction, coal mining and in the warehousing and transportation equipment of the sugar industry.
